Windows Engineer/ Network Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Windows Engineer / Network Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The role involves managing and maintaining Windows-based infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and support of operating systems and related services. The Windows Engineer / Network Engineer will troubleshoot system, network, and infrastructure issues, monitor performance, and ensure high availability and security of systems. Daily responsibilities include performing routine system administration tasks, applying patches and updates, documenting configurations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise data and application environments. The role also includes participation in incident resolution, capacity planning, and continuous improvement of infrastructure processes and standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Windows and Operating Systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance in enterprise environments.
Candidates should possess skills in Infrastructure management, covering servers, networks, storage, and related hardware and software components.
Candidates should possess System Administration skills, including user management, security controls, patching, backups, and performance monitoring.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving system, network, and infrastructure issues efficiently.
Experience with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching) and basic firewall concepts.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, or containerization is beneficial.
Ability to document processes, configurations, and incidents clearly, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, networking certifications) are a plus.
