Role Description
We are looking for a Backend Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and technology professionals interested in backend engineering, software development, APIs, databases, microservices, cloud technologies, system integration, distributed systems, and scalable application development.
The Backend Engineer will work closely with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to design, develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve backend applications, APIs, databases, internal platforms, automation solutions, and digital systems.
The role may involve working with Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, C#, C++, Go, or similar programming languages, along with backend frameworks, REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, microservices, messaging technologies, testing tools, and modern software-engineering practices depending on project and business requirements.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in backend engineering, backend development, software engineering, software development, application development, API development, web development, platform engineering, or related technology roles can apply.
Candidates currently working as Backend Engineer, Backend Software Engineer, Backend Developer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Java Backend Engineer, Python Backend Developer, Node.js Developer, Application Developer, Full Stack Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Platform Engineer, Junior Software Engineer, or Associate Software Engineer are encouraged to apply.
Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, analytics, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
Basic to good knowledge of at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, C#, C++, Go, PHP, or a similar language.
Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, exception handling, debugging, modular programming, and software-development fundamentals.
Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Node.js, Express.js, .NET, or similar technologies will be beneficial.
Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, and system integration.
Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar databases will be beneficial.
Understanding of database design, normalization, joins, indexes, transactions, schemas, queries, CRUD operations, and data-access concepts will be advantageous.
Exposure to microservices architecture, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, scalable backend services, or event-driven applications will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Familiarity with ORM technologies such as Hibernate, JPA, SQLAlchemy, Entity Framework, Sequelize, Prisma, or similar tools will be advantageous.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
Exposure to Postman, JUnit, PyTest, Mockito, Jest, API testing, unit testing, integration testing, or automated testing technologies will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar cloud and DevOps technologies will be considered an advantage.
Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, configuration management, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts will be beneficial.
Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, or event-driven architecture will be considered an additional advantage.
Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, API security, secure coding, input validation, encryption, or backend-security concepts will be beneficial.
Exposure to application performance optimization, database tuning, scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, logging, monitoring, or observability will be advantageous.
Exposure to ETL/ELT, data engineering, automation, analytics, AI/ML, ERP, CRM, dashboards, or enterprise applications will be considered an additional advantage.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, sprint planning, or issue tracking will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into reliable, maintainable, scalable, and secure backend solutions.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
Internship, academic project, backend project, API project, database project, Java project, Python project, Node.js project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
Candidates without previous full-time backend-development experience can also apply.
Strong willingness to learn new programming languages, backend frameworks, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and modern software-engineering practices.
