2. About the Opportunity:
The Specialist, Category Growth role focuses on enhancing the online performance and growth of assigned product categories. This position is responsible for optimizing customer experience on e-commerce platforms, managing product presentation, analyzing sales and performance data, and collaborating with various teams to meet sales and profitability goals. The role contributes significantly to the organization’s e-commerce success by driving category strategies and improving the digital shopping experience.
3. Responsibilities:
Implement e-commerce category strategies aligned with business objectives and sales targets.
Collaborate with merchandising and buying teams to influence product assortment and productivity.
Ensure merchandising follows best practices and is executed timely to provide an intuitive shopping experience.
Maintain accurate product categorization, filtering, and navigation to improve user experience.
Verify product information accuracy across all online platforms.
Analyze and report key category and brand performance metrics.
Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Align online and offline product strategies with buying and merchandising teams.
Work with digital experience teams to enhance website functionality and resolve issues.
Respond to ad hoc requests with data-driven recommendations to inform strategy.
4. Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of category management experience, preferably in e-commerce.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related field.
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and best practices.
Excellent analytical skills for interpreting data and developing recommendations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary range $62,400 - $80,200.
