Lean Six Sigma / Business Process Optimisation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Lean Six Sigma / Business Process Optimisation Specialist to lead business process improvement initiatives within a large public-sector environment.
The successful candidate will initially focus on functions and processes within the Data & Technology team, identifying and implementing measurable and sustainable improvements. Using Lean, Six Sigma and related methodologies, they will analyse existing processes, identify efficiencies, reduce variation and improve overall process quality.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, quantify and prioritise business process improvement opportunities using data-driven analysis.
Lead end-to-end business process optimisation and improvement initiatives.
Apply Lean, Six Sigma and related process improvement methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce variation and enhance quality.
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across a range of business units and functions.
Manage and engage stakeholders at all levels throughout business process change initiatives.
Coach and mentor personnel in process improvement methodologies and practices.
Work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Communicate findings, recommendations and improvement opportunities in clear and practical language.
Essential Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate:
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a recognised body.
5+ years' experience leading and implementing process improvement initiatives within technology-led environments.
A proven track record of delivering significant and quantifiable process efficiencies within a public-sector environment.
Strong facilitation, coaching and presentation skills.
Demonstrable experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
