Job Description:
As the Social Media Manager for our dynamic sports media team, your primary responsibility will be to drive our digital presence and community engagement, focusing heavily on content creation for FIA Grade 2 Racetrack pages.
This role is pivotal in expanding our digital footprint, engaging with passionate sports fans, and establishing our brand as the ultimate go-to destination for high-octane motorsport and action sports content.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations: Manage daily social media postings, interactions, and community engagement across all major platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
Content Strategy: Plan, create, and manage dynamic monthly content calendars aligned with the FIA Grade 2 Racetrack Ecosystem.
Creative Direction: Write clear, compelling creative briefs for the design and video production teams.
Influencer Marketing: Lead influencer scouting, outreach, and relationship management to amplify our brand presence in the sports niche.
Event Coverage: Handle event management and live social media coverage during major race weekends and spectacular sports events.
Analytics & Strategy: Generate detailed monthly performance reports, track KPIs, and conduct rigorous competition analysis to keep our content ahead of the grid.
Work Experience:
2+ years of overall work experience in social media management, digital media, or content creation.
Must have:
A strong, proven background in sports journalism.
Deep passion and comprehensive knowledge of F1, MotoGP, and other spectacular/spectator sports.
Hands-on experience building out social media calendars, executing digital campaigns, and extracting actionable insights from social data.
Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to capture the adrenaline and excitement of live sports.
Education & Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Journalism, Media Studies, or Mass Communication.
