Registered Nurse- Ambulatory Cardiology

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30pm; No weekend or holiday requirement
Preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years of cardiac nursing experience required in a cardiac-focused setting such as a telemetry unit, cardiac step-down unit, cardiac ICU, or other cardiovascular specialty area. Prior experience in an ambulatory/outpatient setting is preferred.

Role Overview
As an RN-Ambulatory, you will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. You'll utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and their families. This role supports patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring clinical competence and effective communication in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

What You Will Do
Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and education.
Delegate, supervise, and document nursing care and teaching for patients and families.
Effectively communicate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current knowledge in your area of specialty.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Current BLS or ACLS certification per Henry Ford Health policy.
Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience in the specialty area.
