Role Description The Customer Success Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for ensuring that clients gain maximum value from D3V’s Google Cloud solutions and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical support to customers, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications, and coordinating with engineering teams to resolve complex problems. The role involves onboarding new customers, guiding them through best practices, and proactively monitoring environments to identify and address potential risks. The Customer Success Engineer will also document solutions, contribute to knowledge bases, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive adoption, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
Qualifications
Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose, resolve, and prevent issues in cloud-based environments.
Customer Support experience, including handling inquiries, managing expectations, and delivering clear, empathetic communication.
Knowledge of Network Security and Cybersecurity principles to help safeguard client infrastructures and data.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud), basic DevOps concepts, and monitoring/logging tools.
Ability to interpret logs, metrics, and alerts, and translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for customers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Cloud, security or networking certifications) are a plus.
