Shift Maintenance Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Technician reporting to the Shift Leader and responsible to safely maintaining the lines and to ensure delivery of output according to quality standards. Accountable for core shift /area KPIs and to undertake tasks such as:
Delivery & Cost:
Autonomous maintenance
Advises, transfers knowledge and technical expertise in the teams to guarantee equipment in basic condition
Eliminates equipment abnormalities and actively participates in the correction of all major or minor defects
Corrective maintenance
Develops knowledge of machines by being available on production lines; shares observations with Operators
Raises the relevant documentation related to the correction of defects
Actions all Breakdowns as quick as possible and carries out Breakdown Analysis using the standards provided
Is responsible for monitoring the line after a breakdown to ensure an effective and efficient start of the equipment (ensuring efficiency, product quality etc.)
Preventive maintenance
Execute preventative maintenance plan on time and participate in preventive maintenance activities and the refurbishment of parts according to equipment availability
Keeps maintenance records updated with all the details required
Regularly consults the technical documentation available
Guarantee the availability of spare parts through the correct use of procedures and standards
Safety Health and Environment:
Stops work when safety is at risk or when in doubt how to proceed safely and involves shift leader
Active participation in Safety discussion during Operations Performance meetings Structure – OPS meetings
Quality:
Performs all maintenance interventions in a manner that protects the quality of the product paying special attention to contamination of equipment and products by oils, fats or foreign objects (hard plastic, dirt, etc...)

For this role as a Shift Maintenance Technician, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience: University Degree (Bachelor) or Technical Degree in Engineering or another related technical field.
2 to 5 years’ experience in a processing industry; Mechanical/electrical/pneumatics/electronics experience
Knowledge of automation
Knowledge of MS Office/SAP/PRS/ Machine interface software
Knowledge of Technical English
