We are looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist/ HRBP to support a busy organization in the printing and publishing industry. This Contract position calls for a well-rounded, detail-oriented HR specialist who can manage day-to-day people operations while serving as a trusted resource for employees and leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong judgment, a practical approach to employee matters, and the ability to balance administrative accuracy with responsive support across core HR functions.
Responsibilities:
• Guide managers and employees through workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and employee relations matters with sound judgment.
• Oversee essential HR administration activities, including maintaining personnel records, supporting documentation processes, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, helping create a smooth and organized start-to-employment experience.
• Administer benefits-related tasks such as employee support, enrollment coordination, and responding to questions about available programs.
• Maintain and update HRIS records to ensure employee information is accurate, current, and properly documented.
• Partner with leadership on HR processes, recommend practical solutions, and help promote consistent people practices across the organization.
• Monitor HR workflows and assist with process improvements that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and employee service delivery.
• Prepare reports, track HR data, and support audits or reviews related to personnel information and HR operations.
• At least 5 years of experience in a broad human resources role with strong exposure to employee relations and HR administration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage onboarding activities and benefits support in a fast-paced business environment.
• Hands-on experience working with HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee data.
• Strong knowledge of standard HR practices, documentation requirements, and confidential information handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at multiple levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities successfully.
• Previous experience in a senior-level HR generalist capacity is preferred.
