Cloud Engineer

Administering and monitoring of enterprise Cloud environments (including subscriptions, identities, resource management, automation of processes and tasks)
Monitoring and reporting on resource utilization and consumption related to the Cloud
Preparing, updating and maintaining reports and workflows
Preparing, updating and maintaining policies, guidelines and SOPs
Provisioning and de-provisioning of development environments and DevOps projects
Providing 2nd line support to client's application development teams in regards of Cloud Services and coordinating with 3rd line of support
Participation in coordination and project meetings
Other specific duties as assigned by supervisor
Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of experience in the IT field, of which a minimum of 3 years must be relevant professional experience in cloud administration, cloud engineering, or a similar area.
Technical knowledge of one or more enterprise Cloud technology services: Azure/AWS/Google Cloud (Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Web, Mobile, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI & Machine learning)
Experience in building a range of Cloud services including compute, storage, network
Excellent scripting skills and programming experience in the following languages: PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash, Windows command prompt and object orientated programming languages
Demonstrable experience of Linux administration and scripting (preferably Red Hat)
Basic knowledge in administering Microsoft systems
Deep knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-a-Service concepts and techniques
Knowledge of Cloud security and compliance (e.g., Cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools)
Experience in collaborating with multiple support groups
Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL based change management, configuration management and release management processes
Good organizational and prioritizing skills
A proactive attitude, team-work spirit, being self-motivated with a strong user orientation
Good communication skills
Able to cope with fast changing technologies
Specific Requirements
Azure Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, or operating Azure Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones based on the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
Required certificates
At least following certification is required:
mid-level AWS/Azure/Google Cloud certification
