Team Lead - Trading

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Team Lead - Trading based in Brazil.
This is a hands-on engineering leadership role focused on building and scaling a high-performance algorithmic trading platform.
You will combine technical leadership with people management, remaining deeply involved in architecture, coding, design reviews, and production systems.
The role carries ownership of the team's technical direction, roadmap, delivery, reliability, and long-term engineering practices.
You’ll work on demanding systems where latency, throughput, concurrency, correctness, and availability are critical to the user experience.
The position requires strong expertise across frontend and backend engineering, distributed systems, databases, and low-level performance optimization.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Compliance, Clearing, and other engineering teams in a remote-first environment.
This opportunity is designed for an experienced engineering leader with a background in trading or exchange systems who wants to remain technically hands-on while developing a high-performing team.
