About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Scan to BIM / BIM ACS Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Scan-to-BIM, point-cloud processing, and BIM modeling. The candidate will be responsible for converting laser scan/point-cloud data into accurate and coordinated BIM models and drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Process and analyze LiDAR / laser scan / point-cloud data.
Develop accurate Scan-to-BIM models from point clouds and survey data.
Create and modify BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP elements as required.
Work with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and relevant BIM/point-cloud software.
Prepare BIM models according to LOD and project-specific standards.
Perform model validation and quality checks against point-cloud data.
Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Identify discrepancies, clashes, and modeling issues.
Prepare BIM drawings, sections, elevations, schedules, and documentation where required.
Follow project BIM standards, naming conventions, templates, and workflows.
Coordinate with project managers, survey teams, engineers, and clients.
Maintain accuracy and consistency of models throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Scan-to-BIM / BIM modeling.
Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
Experience working with Point Cloud / RCP / RCS data.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks.
Understanding of BIM workflows, modeling standards, and LOD.
Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Good understanding of construction and building components.
Strong attention to detail and model accuracy.
Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ReCap / point-cloud processing software.
Knowledge of Revit Families and BIM standards.
Experience with Scan-to-BIM projects for existing buildings.
Knowledge of clash detection and coordination.
Familiarity with international BIM standards and project requirements.
Experience in commercial, industrial, residential, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Education
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering/design field.
Relevant professional experience in BIM/Scan-to-BIM will also be considered.
