Role Description The Retail Sales Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for overseeing daily retail operations at DHL Express service centers, including supervising front-line staff, managing work schedules, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The Retail Sales Supervisor will drive sales performance by promoting DHL products and services, implementing sales initiatives, and monitoring key performance indicators. Day-to-day tasks include supporting customers with shipment queries, resolving service issues, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. The role also involves coaching and developing team members, maintaining store appearance, managing cash and documentation, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance management, and the ability to coach and develop staff.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
Candidates should possess Retail Sales experience, including product promotion, cross-selling, and achieving sales targets in a retail or service environment.
Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, including handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and building long-term customer relationships.
Relevant experience in logistics, courier, or service industry environments is beneficial.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to accuracy and compliance, are preferred.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field is preferred, along with the ability to work flexible hours as business needs require.
