Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Agra, responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations and ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently. This role includes planning and scheduling production, allocating resources, and coordinating with procurement, quality, and dispatch teams to maintain smooth workflow. The Production Manager monitors output, optimizes processes, and addresses bottlenecks, while enforcing safety, quality, and compliance standards on the shop floor. The position also involves supervising and guiding production staff, tracking performance metrics, managing documentation, and reporting progress and issues to senior management. The Production Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to support cost control, process improvements, and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
Strong production planning and operations management skills, with experience overseeing daily manufacturing activities.
Ability to lead, train, and motivate production teams, with effective people management and conflict-resolution capabilities.
Sound knowledge of quality control practices, safety regulations, and compliance requirements in a factory environment.
Proficiency in using basic computer applications and production tracking tools for reporting and documentation.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or export-oriented company is strongly preferred.
Diploma or degree in engineering, production management, or a related field is an advantage.
