Cybersecurity Proposal Specialist

Location: Remote, India
Schedule: Part time, 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7:00–11:00 a.m. Pacific Time
Compensation: $500 per month
Term: Three-month contract pilot, with potential for a full-time role
Symosis is a Silicon Valley cybersecurity and AI security consulting firm. We need someone who can own cybersecurity RFP responses from qualification through submission. We will provide proposal templates, service methodologies, team bios, and past responses. You will use them to create tailored, compliant proposals and submit them on time.
What you will do
Review FindRFP, HigherGov, and procurement portals to identify opportunities that fit Symosis.
Read each solicitation and prepare a bid/no-bid summary, compliance matrix, response outline, and submission schedule.
Draft the full proposal using our approved content, tailored to the buyer’s requirements.
Obtain technical, staffing, reference, and pricing inputs from Kartik and the delivery team.
Complete required forms and attachments, check the response against every RFP requirement, and prepare the final package.
Submit the approved proposal through the required portal or email. Save the submitted version and confirmation receipt.
Maintain the RFP pipeline and improve our reusable proposal content.
Leadership will approve bid decisions, technical approach, pricing, and the final response. You will drive the process and execute the submission.
What we need
At least two years of direct experience drafting and submitting cybersecurity or IT security RFP responses, preferably for US public-sector buyers.
Experience managing complete submissions, including compliance checks, forms, attachments, and procurement portals.
Familiarity with security assessments, penetration testing, vCISO, IAM, GRC, SOC/MSSP, cloud security, or AI security.
Strong written English, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel or Google Sheets, and AI drafting tools. You must verify all AI-generated content.
