About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Company Description Kato.8 Studios is an independent game studio creating thoughtful, retro-inspired games with modern design sensibilities and strong foundational design. The studio emphasizes sustainable development, transparent processes, and active community involvement from the earliest stages of each project. Founded by a game producer with experience in development, publishing, and live operations, Kato.8 Studios focuses on intentional, long-term creative integrity rather than short-term hype. Applicants can expect to join a community-first environment that values both the creative journey and the final game experience.
Role Description The Social Media Producer/Editor (Intern) is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting the studio’s online presence across social platforms. The intern will draft and schedule posts, write engaging captions, and adapt content for different platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X. This role also involves collaborating with the team to refine content strategy, track basic performance metrics, and respond to community feedback in a thoughtful, inclusive manner. The Social Media Producer/Editor will help ensure that all content reflects Kato.8 Studios’ values of transparency, sustainability, and respect for the creative process.
