About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our manufacturing facility located in Clover, SC. This full-time position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and plays a vital role in managing various HR functions to support our operational excellence. The HR Generalist will be responsible for handling the full spectrum of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HRIS implementation, and compliance management. This role requires a professional with a strong sense of confidentiality, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. The ideal candidate will serve as a key point of contact for employee inquiries, ensuring a positive employee experience aligned with our company values. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of five years of HR experience is required, with exposure to payroll processing highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential, along with the ability to quickly adapt to new HRIS and benefits management systems. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all aspects of their work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management are crucial for success in this role. A proactive attitude towards learning and a willingness to take on new challenges are highly valued.
Responsibilities
The Human Resources Generalist will serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries, providing an employee experience that reflects the company’s core values. Key responsibilities include managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from posting job openings to facilitating smooth onboarding procedures, including preparing new hire paperwork, coordinating pre-employment screenings, and conducting orientation sessions. The role involves maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring all HR documentation is current and compliant with regulatory standards. The HR Generalist will support payroll and benefits administration by serving as a backup for the Benefits Specialist and managing leave of absence processes in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Additional duties include supporting the implementation and testing of new HRIS modules, generating compliance reports such as EEO and ACA filings, and overseeing workers' compensation claims. The role also involves tracking performance review schedules, facilitating timely communication for annual reviews, and administering various HR programs related to compensation, benefits, employee relations, and occupational health and safety. The HR Generalist will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, regularly reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance. The position requires proactive engagement in industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in HR management. Other responsibilities may include handling disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, and supporting employee development initiatives.
