Compensation: $200,000-$225,000 base salary + 10% target bonus + equity opportunity

We're looking for an experienced accounting leader to oversee financial operations for a growing healthcare services organization. You'll work directly with the CFO, lead a team of accounting professionals, and play a key role in financial reporting, cash management, audit coordination, and strategic initiatives including acquisitions and process improvements.
This is a highly visible leadership role where your expertise will directly influence the organization's growth and financial success.
What You'll Do
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple entities
Ensure accurate GAAP-compliant financial reporting and maintain a strong control environment
Oversee healthcare revenue recognition, reimbursement accounting, reserves, and related financial reporting
Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals
Own the administration and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Review reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules to maintain an audit-ready general ledger
Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow analysis
Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, lenders, insurance providers, and regulatory reviews
Improve accounting processes, reporting capabilities, and internal controls
Support acquisition activity, integration efforts, purchase accounting, and related financial analysis
Oversee technical accounting areas including ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 lease accounting, fixed assets, and consolidations
Prepare management reporting and financial insights for senior leadership
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA strongly preferred
5+ years of Controller experience with leadership responsibility
Experience leading accounting functions within a healthcare organization, ideally one with approximately $300M in annual revenue
Prior public accounting or external audit experience highly preferred
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, accrual accounting, ASC 606, and ASC 842
Experience with multi-entity organizations and consolidated financial reporting
Track record of managing audits and working with external stakeholders
Experience supporting M&A transactions, integrations, or acquisition accounting is a plus
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
Strong leadership, communication, and business partnering skills
