Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Community Schemes Consultant. The consultant will advise clients on legal, governance, and operational aspects of community schemes, including interpreting relevant legislation, reviewing documentation, and providing practical recommendations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting consultations, responding to client queries, drafting reports and guidance notes, and supporting scheme executives with compliance and best practices. The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, prevent disputes, and promote effective community scheme management. The consultant will also contribute to client education initiatives, such as preparing presentations, training materials, or informational content.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of community schemes, property law, or related regulatory frameworks, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation and governance documents.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience assessing issues, identifying risks, and recommending practical solutions.
Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the capacity to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical judgment when handling sensitive client information and potentially contentious matters.
Proficiency with standard office software and remote collaboration tools; experience preparing reports, presentations, and client-facing documents.
Relevant tertiary qualification in law, property, governance, or a related discipline is advantageous, along with prior experience in community schemes, sectional title, or HOA environments.
Ability to contribute to client education initiatives, such as training, workshops, or written guidance, and a willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
