Position Summary
The Sales & Artistry Executive is a field-based professional responsible for driving sales growth while promoting the Stila brand image across an assigned territory. The role manages day-to-day territory execution, builds strong retailer and store relationships, plans and executes in-store events, develops field talent through education and coaching and identifies opportunities to strengthen sales performance. The Sales & Artistry Executive is accountable for delivering sales objectives while managing assigned travel, demonstration and field-support budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Territory Management
Increase sales and achieve targeted sales growth across the assigned territory.
Continuously assess each door’s sales strategy, business opportunities and training results.
Conduct market research and identify selling opportunities and client needs.
Actively seek new sales initiatives through networking and approved social media activity.
Deliver sales objectives while staying within assigned budgetary parameters.
Artistry, Education & Talent Development
Educate, train and develop sales staff through store visits and training programs focused on product knowledge, makeup artistry and selling techniques.
Provide ongoing coaching to artists to reinforce consistent standards and in-store practices.
Support recruitment of field talent and foster the growth and development of the Sales and Education team.
Collaborate with management and training partners in the creation and execution of training workshops.
Events & Retailer Partnerships
Plan and execute effective in-store events that drive sales and support marketing objectives.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with store management, Stila staff and retail partners.
Communicate store, employee, product and business issues promptly to the Regional Director and/or appropriate management.
Business & Budget Management
Manage assigned account, demonstration, travel and expense budgets.
Manage projects effectively through completion and maintain strong follow-up and follow-through.
Serve as a liaison between field staff and AllWork as required.
Qualifications
2-4 years of relevant experience in field sales, beauty, cosmetics, artistry, retail or a related role.
Strong sales orientation with a results-driven approach.
Strong makeup artistry, product education, coaching and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational, communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
Ability to travel as required to support the territory.
