About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
We're recruiting a small bench of founding advisors: operators who ran revenue, GTM, product, or field organizations at companies like Palo Alto Networks, Google Cloud, AWS, CrowdStrike, Snowflake, or Cisco, and who now back and advise founders. If that describes you, read on.
Deepgrids is building the coordination layer for the most complex deals in the enterprise: the system that holds the live state of a deal, its structure, pricing, approvals, and every change, and drives it to close. We sit above CPQ, CRM, and CLM and govern the layer none of them can see. Pre-seed, backed by strategic angels, advised by former senior leaders from Google, Palo Alto Networks, and Stripe.
Who this is for. You should see your own title here:
SVP, VP, GM, or Area VP of Sales, GTM, Cloud, Channels, or Field operations at a hyperscaler, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or data platform company (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Fortinet, Cisco, Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, ServiceNow, Splunk, or peers).
CRO, CFO, CPO, or VP of Revenue / RevOps at enterprise B2B software doing $500M+.
You have personally lived complex enterprise deal execution: seven-figure multi-product deals, discount approvals, deal desk escalations, quarter-end margin surprises.
You have angel-invested in or advised multiple startups. You know what pre-seed companies actually need.
Strong plus: you built or ran a deal desk or commercial finance function, or owned the Q2C stack itself (Salesforce CPQ, Callidus, CLM, billing).
If your background is outside enterprise technology, however senior, this seat isn't the fit, and we mean that respectfully.
Your seat at the table:
Shape product and category strategy directly with the founding team, while the architecture is still soft enough for your experience to bend it.
Direct go-to-market and enterprise adoption: which buyer, which entry point, how a deal desk and a CFO actually evaluate a platform like this.
Open doors to enterprise buyers, design partners, and investors where it genuinely makes sense.
Sharpen the fundraising narrative ahead of the round.
Quarterly strategy sessions, lightweight high-leverage involvement in between.
What you get:
0.25% to 1% equity, standard advisory vesting, scaled to seniority and involvement (equity-only, no cash).
Optional participation in our open SAFE round, alongside our other advisors.
A founding seat while the category is being defined, in a small circle of operators who've all lived the same problem.
