About the Role
We are looking for a Site Engineer Intern to join our team for a 3-month residential project in Kanyakumari. The candidate will be based at the project site throughout the internship and will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day site activities, contractors, vendors, and the design team.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to gain practical experience in luxury interior execution, site management, coordination, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Be present at and manage the day-to-day activities at the project site.
- Coordinate with civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, flooring, painting, and other site contractors.
- Monitor contractor activities and ensure work is executed according to the approved drawings and design specifications.
- Coordinate with the design team, project team, vendors, and contractors.
- Read and understand 2D drawings, elevations, layouts, furniture drawings, electrical drawings, ceiling plans, and other technical drawings.
- Take site measurements and verify dimensions before execution.
- Track daily site progress and maintain proper records.
- Identify execution issues, clashes, discrepancies, or deviations at site and communicate them to the concerned team.
- Follow up with contractors to ensure work is completed as per the project schedule.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are received, checked, and stored appropriately.
- Monitor workmanship, finishing quality, and adherence to design specifications.
- Maintain daily/weekly site updates with photographs and progress reports.
- Assist in quantity verification, measurements, and contractor work assessments.
- Coordinate between multiple trades to ensure smooth sequencing of work.
- Ensure the site is maintained in an organised and safe manner.
- Escalate delays, material shortages, quality issues, or other site challenges to the project lead/founders.
- Assist in snagging, rectification, and final handover activities.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of construction and interior execution.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working closely with contractors and site workers.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets is preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Must be comfortable living at and working from the Kanyakumari project site for the entire 6-month internship.

Important
This is a live-in site role. The selected candidate will be required to stay at the Kanyakumari project site for the full duration of the 6-month internship.
Candidates who are not comfortable relocating to and staying at the project site should not apply.
