Role Description The Site Engineer Intern (Chennai) will support project execution at client locations, ensuring that interior works are carried out according to design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chenai, involving daily coordination with civil engineers, contractors, and vendors to monitor progress, resolve site issues, and document project milestones. The intern will assist in checking measurements, verifying installation quality, and maintaining site records and reports. The role also includes liaising with the design and project management teams to communicate site updates, support material planning, and help implement timelines for successful project delivery.
Qualifications
Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment and manage day-to-day site activities.
Strong Communication skills for coordinating with project teams, clients, and contractors.
Knowledge of Quality Control practices to ensure work meets design and safety standards.
Foundational understanding of Structural Engineering principles and construction methods.
Educational background or training relevant to Civil Engineers or civil engineering disciplines.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
Basic familiarity with construction drawings, measurements, and project documentation.
Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adhere to safety protocols and company policies at the project site.
