Job Title: Sales Leader, Americas —Collision Repair / Refinish Equipment (Confidential Search)
Reports To: VP, Americas Sales
The Opportunity

Backed by private equity, the company is injecting significant capital into revitalizing its Americas footprint. With a major, next-generation flagship product launching next year, you will have a critical 12-to-18-month window to lead the commercial turnaround, rebuild distributor channels, build out your sales team, and drive explosive growth.
What You Will Own
Commercial Strategy & Turnaround: Own the go-to-market strategy across the Americas to reverse a multi-year sales decline and position the business for market dominance.
Team Leadership & "B-to-A" Cultivation: Lead, coach, grow, and elevate an existing, passionate sales team, establishing rigorous account management and a strategic mindset.
Distributor Network Revitalization: Rebuild and expand key distributor relationships across a 100% channel-driven model.
Player-Coach Impact: Directly manage a select portfolio of high-value key accounts initially with the goal to transition them to your team.
Next-Gen Product Launch: Spearhead the commercialization and rollout of a highly anticipated flagship product line.
What We Are Looking For
10+ years of progressive sales experience, with 3+ years leading sales teams (4–15 people).
Deep Industry Expertise: 3+ years of experience and an active network within the Refinish / Collision Repair industry (candidates with strong backgrounds in equipment sales strongly preferred).
Channel Savvy: Proven track record managing distributors or working within a distributor-driven model.
Data-Driven & Modern Approach: Comfortable leveraging sales data, metrics, and modern tools (including AI applications) to drive strategic decisions and coaching.
Hunter Mindset: High energy, entrepreneurial, and motivated by building a commercial engine from the ground up.
Compensation And Travel
Base Salary: Target ~$180,000
Incentive Compensation: 40% target bonus, uncapped, with aggressive accelerators (e.g., 80% payout at 110% of target)
Equity: Substantial equity points
Travel: ~60% travel across the Americas (Canada, Mexico, US, Brazil);
This is a fully remote role. Ideally located near a major airport.
