This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Rust Engineering Lead - Linux and Open Source based in United States.
This role offers the opportunity to help shape the future of Linux and open source software through the adoption of Rust across system-level technologies. You will design and deliver high-quality software while helping identify areas where Rust can improve the reliability, security, and maintainability of existing systems. Working in a fully distributed engineering environment, you will collaborate with colleagues and open source communities across time zones. The position combines hands-on software development with technical advocacy, architectural thinking, and engineering leadership. You will contribute across a broad technology landscape, from system services and embedded software to desktop and cloud-related capabilities.
