The Opportunity
We're hiring a Design Assistant - Video for a fast-growing consumer brand — designing and editing short-form video content for paid ads, social, email, and landing pages, working from weekly creative concepts at high volume.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
Video Editing: Design and edit short-form video content for paid ads (primarily Meta), social media, email, landing pages, and other channels.
Concept Execution: Copy the format of sample/inspiration videos provided, and build engaging ad creatives based on weekly concepts discussed in Creative Calls, ensuring alignment with campaign goals.
Creative Editing: Edit existing creative — crop, resize, recut, add text overlays, transitions, and more.
Motion Content: Develop GIFs and motion content to support digital marketing efforts.
Quality & Consistency: Maintain brand consistency and a strong eye for detail during fast-paced editing cycles.
Performance Iteration: Review performance data and contribute to creative iteration and optimization.
Volume: Produce 50–70 ads weekly, ranging from 15 seconds to 1 minute in length.
What You Bring
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on video editing experience.
Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in Adobe Suite (especially After Effects and Premiere Pro).
Aesthetic Sense: Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of pacing, motion, and storytelling.
Schedule: Ability to work EST hours and collaborate with remote teams.
Bonus Points if:
You're familiar with Slack and Gmail for team communication.
You have experience with D2C/e-commerce brands or performance marketing.
