🚨 Internship Opportunity – Hydraulics & Smart Water Lab
📍 Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore
🕒 Duration: 4–6 months (or more)
We are inviting dedicated interns to join our Hydraulics and Smart Water Lab at IISc Bangalore. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in experimental fluid mechanics, water quality analysis, and smart water systems, while working at the forefront of sustainable water research.
🔍 Key Research Areas:
- Pipe hydraulics and flow visualization techniques
- Soft matter in hydraulic systems
- Smart water grid operations
- Water quality testing and analysis
🧪 Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced water quality analysis and few food-quality tests
- Operate and maintain lab instruments and hydraulic setups
- Assist with smart water grid operation (training will be provided)
- Assist in method development and research experiments
- Conduct sample collection, labeling, storage, and management
- Ensure QA/QC compliance in all testing
- Maintain detailed lab records and assist in technical report preparation
- Uphold lab safety and cleanliness standards
🎓 Eligibility:
Students or recent graduates with a B.Tech, or M.Tech in:
Hydraulics/ Water Resources/ Civil Engineering/ Environmental Engineering
Preferred: Hands-on experience in hydraulics, lab instrumentation, or water analysis
Strong organizational skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
