Associate Attorney

Good Advice Law has an opening for an associate probate attorney licensed in Oregon. We are accepting applications from experienced attorneys as well as recent bar takers and candidates for Oregon's alternative admissions apprenticeship program (Supervised Practice Portfolio).
Good Advice Law is based in Gresham, Oregon, but practices throughout the state.
This position will be focused primarily on closing out probate cases, drafting final accountings and verified statements, and supervising the paralegal team’s work product. This position can be remote if you already know what you’re doing. If you are new to probate practice, then in-office time will be required until you have been given the tools and support you need to succeed remotely. This firm treats employees as adults and grants wide latitude for work-life balance, as long as the job gets done. That said, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a good teammate who will work hard out of care and respect for the rest of the team. Once established in probate practice, the opportunity to pursue other practice areas will be available. Estate Planning, Guardianships and Conservatorships, Small Business, and Family law are established areas of practice, but we are open to helping the right candidate launch into a new practice area they have a passion for or experience in.
$70-90K+ Depending on billing, 1,000 hours per year minimum, bonuses on hours billed thereafter. I don’t mind sharing money with someone who is making me money. We offer benefits, 401k matching, a flexible schedule, and the opportunity to create the career you want.
