Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Cantonese to English Interpreter. The interpreter will provide real-time, accurate, and culturally sensitive interpretation during virtual calls, meetings, and consultations across medical, legal, and business contexts. Day-to-day tasks include listening carefully to Cantonese speakers, rendering their message clearly in English, and vice versa when needed, while maintaining meaning, tone, and confidentiality. The interpreter will follow client-specific protocols, use call center and conferencing platforms, document essential interaction details when required, and collaborate with supervisors to maintain service quality. The role also involves participating in training sessions, staying current with terminology and best practices, and adhering to professional standards and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong language proficiency in Cantonese and English, with excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills.
