About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT professional to join our team at our Gernrode/Thüringen location as an IT Employee / System Administrator (m/w/d). In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operational processes. You will support our staff with technical issues, manage system security, and contribute to ongoing digital transformation initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for technology, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to IT management. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant vocational qualification in IT, such as a Fachinformatiker for Systemintegration, IT-Systemelektroniker, or an equivalent certification. Prior experience in system administration or IT support is advantageous, demonstrating familiarity with enterprise IT environments. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Client operating systems, as well as experience with network components and IT security standards, is essential. Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Windows operating systems is required. Additional skills in SAP, programming, and data security are considered a plus. The candidate should demonstrate a structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style, complemented by excellent communication skills in German and English. Teamwork, reliability, and a high sense of responsibility are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Maintain and administer the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and client systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
Provide first and second-level support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
Install, configure, and perform routine maintenance on hardware and software components, ensuring up-to-date systems.
Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and conduct error analysis to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and IT resources, ensuring compliance with security policies.
Participate in planning, executing, and supporting digitalization and IT-related projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Implement and optimize IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus solutions, and data protection protocols.
Create and maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including process descriptions, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless integration and support of IT solutions.
