Role Description The Communications Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for developing and delivering clear, consistent messaging that supports Hotel Sevasmora’s brand and operations. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and editing written materials such as press releases, announcements, and internal communications for various audiences. The role involves coordinating with different teams to gather information, ensure message accuracy, and align communications with strategic goals. The Communications Specialist will manage communication calendars, maintain messaging guidelines, and support the execution of strategic communications plans. This role also includes monitoring engagement and feedback to refine communication approaches over time.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills, including the ability to adapt messages for different audiences and channels.
Experience with press releases and media-facing content, including drafting and formatting professional announcements.
Background in strategic communications, with the ability to plan and implement communication initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Proficient writing skills for external and internal communications, with attention to clarity, tone, and grammar.
Experience in internal communications, including employee updates, newsletters, and organizational announcements.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.
Comfort with digital communication tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., email marketing tools, intranet, video conferencing software).
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in hospitality or customer-focused industries is beneficial but not required.
