Role Description The AI Agent Owner is a full-time remote role responsible for defining, building, and managing AI agents that deliver measurable business outcomes for clients and internal teams. Day-to-day, this role includes gathering and refining requirements, designing AI agent workflows, and collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and product stakeholders to translate use cases into robust agent architectures. The AI Agent Owner will oversee configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of agents, including monitoring performance, addressing edge cases, and improving reliability and user experience. This role also involves documenting agent behavior, creating playbooks and guardrails, and ensuring responsible AI usage aligned with client policies and compliance standards. The AI Agent Owner will regularly review metrics, run experiments, and iterate on prompt strategies, data integrations, and routing logic to continuously improve agent accuracy, efficiency, and adoption.
Qualifications
Strong skills in AI/ML concepts and LLM-based systems, including experience designing or managing AI agents, prompts, and workflows.
Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and integrating AI solutions into production environments.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, with experience in product ownership, solution design, or technical project management.
Proficiency in experimentation, performance monitoring, and optimization using metrics, analytics, and A/B testing for AI or software products.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document agent behaviors, create usage guidelines, and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Solid understanding of responsible AI practices, data privacy, and security considerations when deploying AI agents in enterprise settings.
Comfort working independently in a remote environment, managing priorities, and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving technology landscape.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience with AI products or platforms
