Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commercial Executive role based in Bhubaneswar. The Commercial Executive will manage day-to-day commercial operations, including preparing quotations, handling purchase orders, coordinating billing and payments, and maintaining accurate commercial documentation. The role involves following up with clients and vendors, addressing inquiries, and providing responsive customer service to support ongoing projects and laboratory services. The Commercial Executive will collaborate with technical and operations teams to align commercial terms, support tenders and proposals, and ensure timely renewal of contracts and service agreements. The position requires proactive liaison with stakeholders to support market development, maintain compliance with company policies, and contribute to the overall commercial strategy.
Qualifications
Strong commercial and commercial management skills, with the ability to handle pricing, contracts, and basic finance-related documentation.
Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams in a clear and professional manner.
Proven experience in following up on leads, orders, payments, and documentation to ensure timely closure of commercial activities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP or CRM systems for commercial data management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Science, or a related field; prior experience in laboratory, industrial, environmental, or engineering services is an advantage.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of basic environmental services, water treatment, or technical services will be considered beneficial
