Role Description The Senior Accounts Payable role at LearningShala is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, payment processing, vendor reconciliation, and monitoring due dates to ensure timely payments. The individual will review and validate expense reports, maintain accurate accounting records, prepare and post journal entries, and assist with month-end closing activities. The Senior Accounts Payable professional will collaborate with finance, procurement, and other internal teams to resolve discrepancies, support audits, and improve AP-related workflows. This role also involves analyzing payable data, contributing to process efficiencies, and upholding compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, with practical experience in accounts payable operations.
Candidates should possess experience managing Expense Reports and vendor-related documentation accurately and efficiently.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting), including posting, reconciliation, and support for month-end close.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience with ERP or accounting software, and strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
Attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in a senior accounts payable or similar finance role is preferred.
