Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Doctorate Program Counsellor / Admissions Counsellor who has hands-on experience in dealing with Doctorate/PhD programs offered by domestic universities in India.
Key Responsibilities
Handle student counselling and admissions for Doctorate/PhD programs.
Manage leads through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
Understand candidates' academic backgrounds and recommend suitable Doctorate programs.
Explain university, program structure, eligibility, fees, admission process, and other relevant details.
Follow up with prospective candidates and convert qualified leads into admissions.
Maintain accurate lead and admission records in the CRM.
Achieve assigned monthly admission and revenue targets.
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth documentation and onboarding.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate or postgraduate degree from a recognized university.
Candidates with an MBA, PGDM, Master’s degree, or equivalent qualification will be preferred.
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in selling or counselling Doctorate/PhD programs.
Prior experience must be with domestic/Indian universities.
Strong understanding of Doctorate/PhD admission processes, eligibility requirements, documentation, and program structures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong counselling, convincing, negotiation, and sales skills.
Comfortable handling calls, WhatsApp conversations, follow-ups, and admission closures.
Target-oriented and comfortable working in a sales-driven environment.
Candidates from the EdTech, Higher Education, University Admissions, or Education Counselling industry will be preferred.
Must be willing to work from the office and complete the assigned working schedule.
Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within a short notice period are preferred.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory: Prior experience in handling or selling Doctorate/PhD programs.
Experience must be with Domestic/Indian Universities.
Strong knowledge of Doctorate/PhD admission processes and programs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong counselling, convincing, negotiation, and sales skills.
Target-oriented and comfortable working in a sales-driven environment.
Candidates from the EdTech / Higher Education / University Admissions industry will be preferred.
Working Details
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Working Days: 6 Days a Week
