Role Description This Medical Coding course internship role is an on-site position based in Tiruchirappalli. Interns will support the delivery of medical coding training by assisting instructors with course materials, organizing learning resources, and helping participants understand coding concepts and guidelines. Daily tasks may include reviewing medical documentation, practicing code assignment under supervision, supporting assessments and quizzes, and maintaining accurate records of learner progress. Interns may also contribute to curriculum updates, coordinate with the training and administrative teams, and ensure that sessions run smoothly and professionally.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation practices.
Interest in learning medical coding standards and guidelines such as ICD, CPT, and HCPCS.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and accuracy in reviewing and interpreting information.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with instructors, peers, and learners.
Ability to work on-site in Tiruchirappalli, manage time well, and collaborate in a structured training environment.
Basic computer proficiency, including working with learning platforms, documentation tools, and spreadsheets.
Educational background in life sciences, healthcare, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
