Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Dentist role based in Jaipur. The General Dentist will perform routine dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Daily responsibilities include performing restorative procedures such as fillings and crowns, preventive treatments like cleanings and fluoride applications, and basic endodontic and periodontal care. The role involves educating patients on oral hygiene, documenting clinical findings accurately, and coordinating with specialists within the clinic for advanced or surgical cases. The General Dentist will also support infection control protocols, maintain equipment and materials, and contribute to a professional, respectful clinic atmosphere.
Qualifications
Recognized dental degree (BDS or equivalent) and valid license/registration to practice as a dentist, in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
Clinical proficiency in routine dental procedures, including examinations, diagnosis, fillings, crowns, extractions, and basic endodontic and periodontal treatments.
Strong patient communication skills, with the ability to explain treatment options clearly, provide oral health education, and build trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Commitment to strict infection control, sterilization protocols, and adherence to clinical safety and quality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and coordinate care with maxillofacial and other dental specialists.
Good time-management and organizational skills to handle a consistent patient flow and maintain accurate, detailed clinical records.
Willingness to stay current with advances in dentistry through continuing education, training, and professional development.
Prior experience in a clinical dental setting is preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
