Network Engineer St. Louis, MO (Remote but local preferred)
Defines network standards and validates vendor-delivered network builds across acquired office locations, ensuring each site is configured to the program's connectivity and security baseline.
Reports to: Infrastructure Architect / Project Lead
Key Responsibilities
Define site network standards (VLAN, SSID, firewall baseline, subnetting) for each integration
Translate site requirements into scope for network vendor delivery and circuit provisioning
Track circuit orders and network build schedules against go-live dates
Perform acceptance testing and validation of vendor-delivered network builds
Troubleshoot connectivity issues during cutover and hypercare
Coordinate firewall rule changes and network security baseline alignment
Maintain network documentation and site configuration records
Required Qualifications
7-9 years network engineering experience (LAN/WAN, firewalls, routing/switching)
Working knowledge of SD-WAN, VPN, and multi-site network architectures
Experience validating third-party network vendor deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
CCNA or equivalent certification
Experience in M&A or site-integration network rollouts; familiarity with Palo Alto, Cisco, Meraki, or Fortinet platforms
