Role Description The Director of Liquidity Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s liquidity strategy and ensuring sufficient funding for operational and strategic needs. This role manages daily cash positioning, monitors short- and long-term liquidity requirements, and optimizes the use of bank accounts and credit facilities. The Director collaborates with finance, treasury, and business units to forecast cash flows, assess funding risks, and implement liquidity policies and controls. The role includes preparing reports and dashboards for senior leadership, evaluating investment and financing options, and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations. The Director also leads continuous improvement initiatives in liquidity processes, tools, and systems, and may supervise a small team or external partners.
Qualifications
Strong finance foundation, including Finance and Financial Planning skills, with a proven ability to design and manage liquidity strategies.
Proficiency in preparing, interpreting, and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to support decision-making.
Advanced Analytical Skills for cash flow forecasting, scenario analysis, risk assessment, and performance tracking.
Experience in treasury or liquidity management, ideally within energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries.
Knowledge of banking products, credit facilities, and cash management tools, including familiarity with treasury management systems.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACT, CTP) are an advantage.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial audiences.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across international teams.
