Executive Vice President

Role Description The Executive Vice President at ABO Energy Services GmbH is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing strategic growth, operational performance, and organizational effectiveness across the company’s energy services portfolio. The role includes setting long-term business objectives, directing key initiatives, and ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and financial goals. Day-to-day tasks involve leading senior management teams, driving cross-functional collaboration, reviewing performance metrics, and making data-informed decisions on resource allocation, investments, and partnerships. The Executive Vice President will engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders, represent the company in high-level negotiations, and support business development activities in existing and emerging markets. This role also includes mentoring leaders, fostering an inclusive culture, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards.
Qualifications
Proven senior executive experience in energy services, utilities, renewable energy, or a closely related industry, with responsibility for strategy, operations, and P&L.
Strong background in business planning, financial management, and performance analysis to guide investment decisions and sustainable growth.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management, talent development, and the ability to inspire and align diverse teams in a remote environment.
Experience in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and high-level negotiations, with excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and risk management practices within the energy sector.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and make timely decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Relevant academic background, such as a degree in business, engineering, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is beneficial.
Fluency in English; additional language skills and international experience are considered an advantage.
