VP of Resource Management

Role Description The VP of Resource Management at ABO Energy Services GmbH is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, allocation, and optimization of human, financial, and operational resources across the organization. This role leads the development and implementation of resource management strategies that support project delivery, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing resource demand and capacity, coordinating with project and department leaders to align staffing and budgets, and establishing policies and tools for forecasting and utilization tracking. The VP of Resource Management will collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic planning, manage risks related to resource constraints, and report on key performance indicators. This position also champions continuous improvement in resource-related processes and fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparent communication.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in resource management, workforce planning, or operations management in a complex, multi-project environment.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, mentoring, and guiding diverse teams toward shared goals.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with forecasting, data analysis, and performance metrics.
Proficiency with resource management, project management, or ERP tools and systems; comfort working with digital workflows and dashboards.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making.
Solid understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and cost optimization within an operational or project-based context.
Experience working in or with energy, engineering, or infrastructure sectors is beneficial.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage competing priorities, and maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism.
