Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, supporting HR operations for Nootie’s partnership with The Pet Point. This role involves managing day-to-day HR activities, including employee onboarding and offboarding, maintaining personnel records, and ensuring accurate documentation. The specialist will support HR policy implementation, administer employee benefits, and assist with performance management processes. Daily responsibilities also include responding to employee inquiries, coordinating training and development initiatives, and supporting recruitment and selection activities as needed. The role requires close collaboration with store leadership to foster a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with local labor regulations, and support workforce planning for retail and grooming operations.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience supporting day-to-day HR operations.
Knowledge of HR Policies and local labor laws, with the ability to implement and communicate policies clearly and consistently.
Experience managing Employee Benefits and related HR administration, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of employee queries.
Skills in Personnel Management, including maintaining employee records, supporting performance management, and handling sensitive information with discretion.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
Proficiency in HRIS or HR-related software and basic office productivity tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; prior experience in retail or service-oriented environments is an advantage.
