Role Description The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, supporting the day-to-day HR operations for Nootie’s partnership with The Pet Point. This role involves administering HR policies and procedures, managing employee onboarding and offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records. The HR Generalist will handle employee benefits and compensation-related documentation, assist with benefits administration, and ensure compliance with local labor regulations. Daily responsibilities include supporting performance management processes, addressing routine employee inquiries, coordinating HR-related training, and assisting with recruitment activities such as screening candidates and scheduling interviews. The role also requires close collaboration with management and staff to foster a positive work environment, support employee engagement initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of HR practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management to support daily HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
Candidates should possess skills in developing and implementing HR Policies to ensure consistency, compliance, and clear guidance for team members.
Candidates should possess skills in Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration to manage enrollment, updates, and communication of benefit programs.
Candidates should have strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills to effectively support employees and leaders.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in HRIS or HR-related software, basic data analysis, and documentation for reporting and compliance.
Candidates should ideally have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and prior experience in a generalist or similar HR role.
Knowledge of Indian labor laws, experience in retail or service-oriented environments, and fluency in English and Hindi are highly beneficial.
