Bilingual Account Manager (English/Chinese)

We are a growing Asian food distribution center serving Asian wholesalers, supermarkets, and restaurants with a wide selection of high-quality Asian products. Our focus is on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service within the Asian food market.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and bilingual Account Manager to join our sales team. This role involves spending 70% or more of the time out in the field, visiting existing clients and developing new business relationships. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) and have a strong background in outside sales or account management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts by regularly visiting clients and addressing their needs.
Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities with supermarkets and wholesalers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering excellent service, product recommendations, and pricing information.
Collaborate with internal departments (warehouse, logistics, customer service) to fulfill client orders and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin required).
1–2 years of outside sales or account management experience, preferably in the food or distribution industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
Familiarity with Asian food products or Asian foodservice industry is highly preferred.
