About The Role
The Senior AI Developer position at Vaco LLC offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned professionals to lead enterprise-level AI initiatives using the Palantir AI Platform. This role is designed for individuals who possess a deep understanding of AI engineering, software development, cloud deployment, and MLOps practices. The Senior AI Developer will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of AI projects—from identifying high-value use cases in collaboration with business leaders to designing scalable architecture, developing production-grade AI applications, and ensuring their secure and compliant deployment across cloud environments. This position requires a strategic thinker capable of translating complex business needs into innovative AI solutions, while also operating comfortably at the technical and executive levels.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in enterprise AI software development, with a proven track record of deploying production applications using Python and popular AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn. Exposure to Palantir Foundry, AIP, Ontology, or similar enterprise AI platforms is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in designing and deploying large language models, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and AI agent solutions, along with building robust CI/CD pipelines supporting lifecycle management, monitoring, and drift detection. Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, MS Fabric, AWS, and GCP is essential. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders and present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. A background in data engineering, AI governance, responsible AI principles, and enterprise experience in regulated environments will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
