About The Role
The Graphic Design Specialist at Baptist Health Care plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s marketing and communication strategies through creative visual solutions. This position is responsible for designing and delivering a wide range of visual materials including print advertisements, brochures, publications, reports, and patient information materials. The role involves collaborating with marketing leads, supporting workflow processes, and ensuring that all creative outputs align with the organization’s branding standards and strategic goals. The specialist will work closely with digital marketing teams, media outlets, and external vendors such as freelance designers, photographers, and videographers to produce compelling visual content. Additionally, the role requires active participation in research of industry trends, technological advancements, and cost-effective printing and production methods. The Graphic Design Specialist is also tasked with maintaining brand integrity across all materials, supporting multimedia projects, and assisting in photography and photo editing tasks. Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-3 years of experience as a graphic designer
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Experience in photography, illustration, and image acquisition
Strong multitasking abilities with exceptional design skills
Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors
Responsibilities
Design and produce print materials such as ads, brochures, publications, reports, and patient information resources
Collaborate with marketing leads and support workflow design processes to ensure timely project delivery
Manage and support print, distribution, and project workflows using project management software
Research industry trends and technological advancements to recommend innovative design solutions
Ensure adherence to corporate branding standards across all promotional materials and publications
Coordinate with digital marketing teams, media buyers, and media outlets to traffic advertisements and meet scheduling deadlines
Generate creative ideas and assist in the production of corporate communications, publications, and promotional campaigns
Work with freelancers, photographers, and videographers to outsource creative projects as required
Oversee print requests and collaborate with print shops, identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing production recommendations
Support multimedia projects by providing photography, photo editing, and image management assistance
Maintain clear communication regarding print requests and virtual print shop operations
Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational operational needs
Remain available on campus during severe weather or disasters as required
