Creative Account Manager
Because — Ahmedabad · Full-time · On-site
We're Because — an AI-native brand and marketing agency working across education, real estate, lifestyle, sports and financial services. This role is for someone who is genuinely two things at once: sharp enough to run client relationships, and creative enough to do the actual work. You'll own 4–6 accounts, report directly to a senior strategist, and be expected to think, write, plan, coordinate, and execute — often on the same day. If that sounds exhausting rather than exciting, this probably isn't the right fit.
What you'll own
Manage 3–4 client accounts end-to-end — timelines, feedback cycles, approvals, and proactive communication. Clients should never have to follow up with you.
Develop content strategy and campaign concepts — not just execute briefs, but help shape what the brief should be in the first place.
Write copy across formats — social captions, scripts, brand messaging, ad copy, emailers — in English, Hindi, or Gujarati depending on the client.
Build client presentations and strategy decks that make a clear argument and hold the room.
Contribute to pitches — own your section, know the prospect's business, and present with conviction.
Plan and coordinate shoots — brief photographers and videographers, prepare shot lists and call sheets, manage on-ground logistics, and ensure the output matches the creative vision.
Write scripts for reels, brand films, ads, and talking-head content — punchy, platform-aware, and on-brief.
Reference and brief designers and video editors with enough visual and tonal direction that they don't have to guess what you want.
Manage social media hands-on for select clients — content calendars, scheduling, captions, and community responses.
Coordinate with external vendors — studios, talent, print vendors, photographers — and hold them to timelines and quality standards.
You're a fit if
You have 3–4 years at a creative or marketing agency and you've genuinely done both sides — not just one with a footnote of the other.
You can write in at least two of the three: English, Hindi, Gujarati. Fluency in all three is a real advantage here.
You can hold a client conversation in the morning, brief a designer at noon, review a script by evening, and not mix up which client is which.
Your strategy thinking is grounded — you back ideas with audience insight, not just instinct.
You've been on set. You know what a shot list is, how to manage a photographer who runs late, and what "we'll fix it in post" actually costs.
You use AI tools actively — for copy drafts, research, referencing, strategy frameworks — and you've built your own workflow around them.
You push back on bad briefs and bad ideas — politely, with reasoning — rather than just executing whatever lands in your inbox.
Nothing falls through the cracks on your accounts. Not because someone's checking, but because that's just how you work.
Work samples are mandatory. Share a deck you built, copy you wrote, a campaign you managed, or a shoot you coordinated.
