Online Web Development Tutor - AUS Shift Timing

Role Description The Online Web Development Tutor (AUS Shift Timing) from 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM IST (5 hours) will conduct live, interactive online classes for students aged 5 to 17, following Codeyoung’s structured web development curriculum. This part-time, remote role involves explaining web development concepts clearly, guiding students through coding exercises and projects, and providing constructive feedback on assignments. The tutor will adapt teaching methods to different age groups and learning styles, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate records of sessions and outcomes. Additional responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, answering student and parent queries, and collaborating with the academic team to continuously improve content and delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to young learners and interact effectively with parents and colleagues.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Research abilities to diagnose learning gaps, explore new teaching resources, and stay current with web development trends.
Candidates should possess Writing skills to create or refine lesson plans, project instructions, and feedback notes in a clear, age-appropriate manner.
Candidates should possess Training skills, including experience in teaching or tutoring, especially in coding, web development, or STEM subjects.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic web development tools; prior online teaching experience is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage AUS shift timings, and handle virtual classroom platforms confidently.
Relevant degree or coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field is an advantage.
