Role Description The Finance Intern role is a full-time, remote position supporting the firm’s investment and capital structuring activities. This role involves assisting in financial analysis, reviewing financial statements, and supporting the evaluation of IPO and pre-IPO opportunities. The intern will help prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders and investors, and contribute to market and company research within the alternative investment and capital markets space. Daily tasks include working with financial data, supporting basic accounting and documentation processes, and collaborating with team members to ensure accurate, timely information flows. The intern will also assist in maintaining organized records and contributing to process improvements in the investment evaluation workflow.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
Foundational knowledge of finance, including corporate finance concepts and capital markets.
Ability to read, understand, and work with financial statements and related financial reports.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and comfort with numerical data and reconciliations.
Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with internal teams.
Enrollment in or completion of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Proficiency in Excel and other standard productivity tools; familiarity with financial modeling is a plus.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
Interest in capital markets, IPOs, and alternative investments; prior internship or project experience in finance is advantageous.
