Role Description The Research Assistant will support ongoing research projects related to fetal health by assisting with study design, data collection, and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, helping prepare research protocols, organizing and maintaining study records, and coordinating with clinical and laboratory staff. The role also involves basic data entry and cleaning, initial data analysis under supervision, and preparing summaries or reports for internal use. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring regular collaboration with research leads and adherence to institutional and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong Research and Analytical Skills, with the ability to review literature, formulate questions, and support study design.
Competence in Data Analysis, including basic statistical understanding and use of common data tools or software.
Laboratory Skills relevant to healthcare or biological sciences, such as handling samples, following protocols, and maintaining lab safety and hygiene.
Effective Communication skills, including clear written documentation, reporting of findings, and collaborative teamwork with clinical and research staff.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, biomedical sciences, public health, or related discipline); advanced study or certification in research methods is an advantage.
Attention to detail, ability to follow standard operating procedures, and commitment to ethical research and patient confidentiality.
Prior experience in clinical or health-related research, especially in maternal or fetal health, is beneficial but not mandatory.
